I am overwhelmed with things to say about their absolutely perfect day. The sun was shinning, Matt and Erica were absolutely stunning in their mountain wedding location and I was blessed with the company of good friends for the entire day. Matt, Erica and their wedding party braved ice cold creek water, a 9 foot jump onto the chair lift and a field with grass so tall that it was amazing that they were able to walk through it. I was thoroughly impressed at how adventurous this bunch was willing to be - yet not at all surprised. Erica and Matt are blessed with exceptional friends that have been there for them for the majority of their lives. They have always been outgoing and active so I knew that the whole crew would be up for almost anything! Fernie was the perfect location for Erica and Matt to be married as they have been there many times together for ski trips. I couldn't imagine a more perfect and suiting location. The mountains reflect so much of what Erica and Matt enjoy. I was so honored to be part of their special day and I will never forget it! A special thank you to Erica's Family for being so hospitable and the wedding party for being such a blast. I will never forget the Bon Jovi house, the danish liquor, the funniest slideshow/video I have ever watched and all the good times had in the Griz Lounge. What a fantastic day for a beautiful couple inside and out. Erica and Matt, you are a match made in heaven and I am so thankful to have been able to be a part of your celebration as your photographer and your friend! I wish you all the happiness in the world! I hope you enjoy your sneak peak ... I added more than I usually do so that Melissa and Andrea will be pleased - lol. To see the images larger, simply click on them.

Lori & James
Lori and James were blessed with fabulous weather on their wedding day which took place this past Saturday. Everything was beautiful - absolutely picturesque. The ceremony, the reception decorations, all of the added little details which were all in PINK - love, love, loved the pink! I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of their day for many reasons. One reason is that Lori and James are soooo in love!!! It is such a great experience just to be around that kind of emotion. Another reason is that Lori and James were "in a cloud" the entire duration of the day. I know that they were trying their best to take everything in and really enjoy each and every moment. They were so laid back and ... just ... happy. It was so refreshing to be a part of that happiness that they share. Another reason is that their wedding party was filled with old high school friends of mine - and they really made it easy for me to have a good time with them. The second last reason that I enjoyed myself so much that day (that I will mention - because there is so many more) is that Lori, James, their friends and family sure know how to rock it at a reception!!! I was delighted to see so many people dancing all night long. I think Lori and James were out on that dance floor every opportunity they had and they sure looked like they were having a blast!! It was so fun to watch. Lastly, Lori and her Father also danced to the most beautiful Italian song that I have ever heard in my entire life!! That will be a first that I've had to choke back the tears during a Father-Daughter dance. The whole day was so special and so beautiful! Thank you Lori and James for being such a great couple and for allowing me to be a part of your day. I wish you both all the happiness in the world!!!

Amanda & Shaun E-Session
This past weekend I had a great time photographing Amanda and Shaun. We revisited the location of their first date - the absolutely superb restaurant, DeVine. The emotion that radiated from these two was incredible. I can't help but think over and over in my head "crazy in love with one another" every time I look upon their images. Every single one brings a huge smile to my face as I get more and more excited to shoot their wedding next July. Thank you for a great evening Amanda and Shaun and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak. Cherie & Sheldon - Runaway Bay, Jamaica
On May 21st I had the pleasure of photographing Cherie and Sheldon's wedding which also took place in Jamaica. The wedding was a true-Jamaican-style ceremony, held at a beautiful beach location. From there, we travelled to a waterfall rainforest-type location which sheltered us nicely from the "liquid sunshine". Although the skies didn't cooperate for the entire duration of the day, we made the best of it and were able to capture some stunning moments regardless. The sun did peak through just when we needed it to - and the result was the perfect day for Cherie and Sheldon's special union. The day after the wedding, Cherie and Sheldon participated in a "trash the dress" shoot. I had a great time playing in the ocean and the sand for this incredibly emotional session. I LOVE the passion that Cherie and Sheldon share and I am so thankful for the opportunity to have captured it. I have included some of these photos, although I really wanted to save some of the best for your slideshow in July. I hope you enjoy your sneak peak Cherie and Sheldon and I simply can't wait to show you the rest at your Canadian reception in July! It was sooo hard to pick just a few ....
