Vicki & Reg E-Session

Last weekend I had the fabulous opportunity to photograph Vicki and Reg's engagement session. Vicki and Reg were a great couple to spend time with. They were incredibly easy going, easy to get a laugh out of, extremely photogenic and ... very much in love!! The perfect combinations for a great session. Vicki and Reg are planning on tying the knot in fabulous Las Vegas, the same location that Reg asked Vicki to marry him. Vicki is an extremely lucky woman, having received her engagement ring from the world renowned Tiffany and Co. Every time I head to Vegas and pass by this store a little pull from my heart wishes that I could own something that had this company's mark on it. Vicki, I can honestly say that I love your ring!! It was a pleasure getting to know the two of you better. Congratulations and I hope that you enjoy your sneak peak. To see the image larger, click right on it. Kari & Matt - Kananaskis

Last weekend I had the great experience of visiting Kananaskis for Kari and Matt's engagement session. Kananaskis is a very special place to Kari and Matt as this is where Matt proposed. The bench in the image below is the actual bench where he asked Kari's hand in marriage. I was thrilled to be able to capture this location that holds so much sentimental meaning. What a great experience! Kananaskis is magical on its very own ... but when you add this story into the mix, it almost makes me cry to look upon these moments. Thank you so much for a wonderful day last Sunday Kari and Matt and I'm really looking forward to your wedding in August! I hope you enjoy your sneak peak. Amanda & Shaun E-Session

This past weekend I had a great time photographing Amanda and Shaun. We revisited the location of their first date - the absolutely superb restaurant, DeVine. The emotion that radiated from these two was incredible. I can't help but think over and over in my head "crazy in love with one another" every time I look upon their images. Every single one brings a huge smile to my face as I get more and more excited to shoot their wedding next July. Thank you for a great evening Amanda and Shaun and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak. Cara & Justin E-Session

This Saturday I met a new furry friend. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I LOVE dogs and I love photographing them also. In this case, my new furry friend's name was Milo - and I honestly believe that he is the sweetest golden retriever ever!! Aside from meeting a new and beautiful puppy, I also had the pleasure of meeting with Cara and Justin for their engagement session. It is possible that Cara and Justin just may think that their photographer is a tad bit crazy after a certain discussion about spontaneity (ahem, yes the tree story). However, it was an effective "smile catalyst" and I certainly don't regret sharing the story. ha ha. Thank you so much Cara and Justin for being such a blast to spend time with on Saturday. I had so much fun watching the two of you giggle! What a magical couple you are!! I look forward to being a part of your special day in July!

Sheree & Ian E-Session

On Friday I had the great experience of seeing some old friends of mine again as we met up for their engagement session. I was delighted to realize that Sheree and Ian were just as excited about the session as I was and we really did capture some great moments because of it. The love that Ian and Sheree share is so vibrantly apparent in these images that I couldn't help but smile the entire time that I sorted through their photos. The laughter and love that they show in front of the camera I am sure only skims the surface of how incredibly happy they are together in "real life". It warms my heart to see old friends so happy and I am very much looking forward to being a part of their special day in October. Thank you so much Sheree and Ian for making me giggle non-stop and for being such incredible models to photograph. You are beautiful people, beautiful friends, and a beautiful couple!! I hope you enjoy the sneak peak!! To view any of the images larger, simply click right on the image.

Matt & Erica E-Session

Matt and Erica are old friends of mine, so I was very excited and honored when they asked if I would photograph their special day. There is something about photographing couples that you have known for a very long time that makes the whole experience that much more magical. Perhaps it is seeing them in that "lovey dovey light" or just knowing that after years and years of being a perfectly suited match, that they are about to share their union in front of all of their friends and family. I LOVE weddings .... and I LOVE being around couples in love. I can say first hand that Erica and Matt are clearly experiencing a love that is meant to last a lifetime and I am so honored to be a part of capturing it! Thank you for all of the giggles this past weekend guys and I simply cannot wait until your Fernie wedding in June!! See you again soon!! I hope you enjoy your very small sneak preview. I didn't want to ruin the surprise!! :) (click on the images to view them larger). ps. Lola is sooooo adorable - I love it!
